Anybody here work at a vinyl sign shop?

I’m think a run of something similar to the “Oversize Load” vinyl signs. But about 55-60” wide with 4 grommets in the corners.

Should be able to then be put across a semi trailer or a full size truck tailgate, so grommets have to be inside the tailgate edge to still close it.

Likely just just black on white, maybe a 3rd colour as well. Two rows of text, how many characters per row are possible?

And can images be put on as well, like a readable QR code?

Permission to link to site or mention an org would have their prior permission.

lots of premade stuff on Amazon but they're about 72" to 84" range.

This’ll be custom work of unknown quantity. As it’ll be OIC and Related such, figured see how direct a gun owner connection we can find. And they can suggest things to save on printing costs or at least best bang for buck.

Universal type banner than could be strung from semi-trailers and pickups alike. Sort of a rolling protest/information thing. Can’t be too high for semis and can’t be too wide for trucks. So wrap like Grabher did is out. Too pricey for all the cheapskate gunnies anyways...

Once a printer is found, see how many letters can be fit on two rows (want big letters). Gotta be easy read at 100 km/h.

Maybe a QR code to gun debate.com that CCFR runs for info...

Once we got a printer, couple layouts, Estimated for quantity discounts, they can print and ship in a flat envelope maybe. or just make the banner the envelope by tape and labels. So cheap to mail all over.

Gunnie in shop would hopefully make the PITA for them more palatable and avoid giving money to an anti by accident.

...and that was what I was thinking this was all about. It would fit nice across the back of most mini vans as well.

Well, find a friendly printer and most options and parameters become clear pretty quick. It’s their job to know how to present what we want.

We need a message that’ll fit their abilities easily.
I’m hoping for:
2-3 slogans vetted by the politically astute ppl here
Cheap (Under $50 including shipping, which will be tough)
Lasts at least a month on highway usage - think +2yrs needed, but reorder and change message

Then every time there’s enough orders, print and ship.
No $ collections, no free work, minimal coordination/effort
Main goal would be GTA-Montreal corridor to reach new voters, but random sightings all over can generate quite a bit of buzz as well

send me the temple and I'll get some rolling in Calgary

I suggest all members get their printers to make some for their own areas

Oh and forget the grommets they tear out too easy in the wind,,, just tie up the corners

Cut some little half circles to let the breeze through.

you got anything that'll be visible from like 12th floor up and fit inside an 8' window in 2' sections?

I got nothing. I’m just trying to help facilitate the spread. But Bristol board would work. Not sure on the viewing angle though...

VP of CHAS is a sign guy. If you can dream it, he can do it.
