Thats a sweet looking stamp.

Is this the same Troy industries that makes the flip up sights and the stocks? It may sound like a stupid question but
1) I didn't know Troy was exclusive with North Sylva and
2) I already made the mistake of assuming the Ares Armour at shot show was the same as the Ares Armour that made my muzzle brake. They weren't.

Some members here are banned and wouldn't see this until they return or until it hits market. I try not to do it too often but that's what happens with having two very similar yet seperate communities.

I don't ;)

That's cute (link) (http://www.gunownersofcanada.ca/showthread.php?5971-Fricken-Laser-Beams-Who-Knows-the-Laws), you're hilarious (link) (http://www.gunownersofcanada.ca/showthread.php?5509-So-Those-Fifty-Beowulf-Mags-Work). :p

Yeah, strange. NEA and Troy were quite tight there for awhile, and now all of a sudden they're doing their own guns, rails, and everytyhing? Hmm.

Troy has been doing their own rifles for quite a while now. After they got burned by Dicks Sporting Goods they obviously looked to expand the availability of their rifles. With Troy and CQBservices very tight and long time relationship, why wouldn't they look at Canada as a market through them? MANY US manufacturers are starting to look to Canada as a viable market, especially with the current US gun control environment. We're seeing a lot more interest from US companies up here.

As for the Troy / NEA relationship, they've worked together on many projects that's no secret.

I like the fact that a major US manufacturer is taking a step like this up here. It shows that they're taking our market seriously. .. seriously enough to put a foreign flag on their rifles. Who'd have predicted that would ever happen? Times, they are a changin'.

Exactly, there's no underlying plot here. US manufacturers are indeed taking Canada more seriously now.... I'm sure Troy will expand to a hand full of distributors up here to push product, that is, until one of those distributors opens their wallet up and "buys" the exclusive distribution rights for here in Canada. No different then Wolverine Supplies and Daniel Defense.

Gun makers are going to take a big hit to sales with California (pop 38 million) and NY (pop 19.5 million) getting cut off, they'd be smart to look up here to expand.

Sure, on the verge of national and state-wide AWBs... Where were they for the last 5 years? Oh, right. Too busy to answer the phone...

What do you mean? The AR market here in Canada for the last 5 years has been booming. I'd bet the demand in Canada has quadrupled. What about all the other semi-auto's we've seen? Handguns, parts etc. etc. I'd say supply in Canada up until now has been abundant, support from Yankee manufacturers has never been better...

Funny how the threat of an AWB does that...

It's an AR, otherwise known as "the mans Barbie" ;). You can accessorise it anyway you see fit, so yes you can put on a different handguard and buttstock.

Interesting. One would think they could sell all the ARs they could make in the states.

I don't see the thread on CGN.
