I'm usually sitting on my behind when calling for yotes, so I'm wondering if there is a bipod option for a 5'11" guy to use while sitting?

12-25" Harris? They're pretty heavy IMO, but if you're just sitting? Have you tried shooting sticks? I found a set strapped to my pack made more sense for me...but that's when I don't know the height I'll need...

DIY, here's a fancy set:
I've found I can just use a rubber band and my off hand at the junction to make a shot...but I'm not set up in a field so maybe the linked ones make more sense for you?

I would like a bipod just so it frees up my hands. Extra weight on the rifle isn't a concern.
lot of people seem to like the shooting sticks though.

Very true, I'm using the sticks for more of a snap shot on mule deer mentality than a calling in coyotes mentality....I thought they were pretty dumb at first, (because I was really klutzy with them:)) but I really like them as another tool in the box now...DIY ones cheap enough to try out...? Harris makes a nice bipod though :shoot2:

BOGPod tripod? I have the TAC-3 and it works great sitting or standing.

Yeah, I like a tripod with a V mount for sitting. Bog-pods are a solid setup, or if you have a good camera tripod you can buy something like this for $30:

They're made by vortex and you can usually find them at wholesale sports
