When I bought my Sks I got a package for more guns supply, they set the gun but not the ammo then got shut down.

My gun has been sitting for some time any ideas were I can get some good prices ammo?

There are a lot of places you can get cheap 7.62x39.

Personally, I'd spring the extra cash for non-corrosive ammo, unless you like cleaning your gun constantly.

Site sponsor Rusty Wood has corrosive 7.62x39 on for $275 for a 1400 round crate.

I've seen crates of ammo at all sorts of sporting good stores, including places like Wholesale Sports and Cabelas.

No more 1120 round cases for 200? I was hoping for one of those

the 1120 for 160-200 are long gone, your looking at the 1400 round cases for 275 now and shipping on top of that.
People got into the cz 858 and the sks hard a couple years ago and all the cheap surplus got eaten up fast.

Lever Arms out of Vancouver has 1440 rounds of Chinese surplus on sale for $300. It claims to be non-corrosive and works out to just under 21 cents per cartridge. Don't know how long the sale will last for:

Lever arms' claims in this case are....suspect. Google may be your friend in this instance.

If 300 is too rich for you to commit to at present, there's always SCDS ammo - They seem to be pretty reasonable.

But be prepared to pay more for shipping though...

Some knucle head didn't hear peoples warnings on that other place. He came back to se a nicley frosted brown rifle when he came back.
With Lever Arms is concerned you are the best bet to look for advise.
