I recently scored a Blackhawk Knoxx Spec Ops recoil reducing stock for my Mossberg Maverick 88. It will also fit the Mossberg 500 and 590.

Item: Blackhawk Knoxx Spec Ops recoil reducing shotgun stock
Price Paid: $120 shipped
Bought from: CGN member, private sale.

Pros: looks bad ass, reduces felt recoil, very comfortable, very easy to install.
Cons: makes access to the slide release a little awkward. however, with practice, it's not an issue

I installed the stock last night. It was very easy to install, using a single hex bolt. Once mounted, I brought the shotgun to firing position with first the 18" barrel, and then the 28" barrel. Both felt natural, well balanced and quick on the swing.

Today after work, I took the gun out and fired 55 rounds. 50 target loads and 5 2 3/4" slugs. The shotgun functioned flawlessly, easily reducing felt recoil by probably 30 - 40%. I found it very comfortable to fire and will use it not only for zombie blasting but also for hunting and target shooting.

Now the pics.

I also like mine. On target loads the difference is small. With full power loads the reduction is greater.

Couple of weekends ago I went through:
15 rounds of reduced recoil 2.75 OO buck,
10 1oz slugs
and 25 rounds of full power OO buck
without any discomfort.

You're right about the target loads difference being smaller. 30% was my estimate on that. could be a little less. I think it'll be money well spent for me since i often put a couple hundred rounds down range when i'm shooting shotgun.
