Looks like another muzzleloader with an overcharge no?

Possibly 2 loads stacked on top of each other, or could be one of those Savages with a black powder charge worth of smokeless powder.

Looking again looks like a jug of smokeless on the shooting table. ;)

That is my worst nightmare. NOT COOL ! I keep watching it trying to see if he's painting the bench red with his left hand...fortunately, it doesn't look like it. Yeeesh !

"So, other than that, how was your day at the range?"
Sure could have turned out worse, it looks like
everything was still attached to him.

Hey...look on the bright side. Now he's got a fairly rare (thank God) conversation piece to hang on the wall in his man cave. My biggest fear (not that I really worry about it much) is having a bolt failure in my 300 win mag. I'm not entirely sure that's something you'd survive.

Agreed. 60,000 psi pushing on a (1sq in.?) piston, 3 inches from your
face, in a rifle made before many people had indoor plumbing, what
could go wrong? :p

Thanks alot guys! :(

Next time I'm at the range all I am gonna think about is my bolt going through my skull.

Shooting smokeless in a muzzleloader will apparently do that ... I wonder if "Mythbusters" will ever test that one lol.

Drache, do you know the story that goes with the video? I'm just curious as to what happened.
