As you might know I recently purchased this FNX Tactical from Jason @ IRUNGUNS.CA

But this ain't my major malfunction.
I am torn between the Docter Optic or the Trijicon RMR in Green:

The red dot is nice but it sucks during the day time. The green is nice during the day time but locking system is a little lacking for me.

Well, they're both reputable companies, but IMO a RDS you can't see in the daytime isn't going to work for me; I don't do night shoots...is that a known problem with the Docter Optic? I thought they worked well? Take it back? What's wrong with the Trijicon? It's not locking solidly onto the slide, or ?

Nope there both top tier reflex sights. Just torn and I think your right. I am leaning towards the RMR cause the green is easier to see during the day time and probably put the Dr. on the 10/22.

I'd take the RMR. Seems like a stronger optic over-all, and the visibility helps.

I'm really tempted to get one of these or an M&P core and put the little Razor Red dot on there!
