A new lever action .22 is on it's way to me (more about that when I have it hand).

Thinking about putting a Cabela's scope on it. Any honest real world reviews on this optic?

Dollar for dollar they are about the same as a Bushnell Banner, which I've always had good luck with.

No input on the cabelas scope, the reviews seem up and down, but for that price I would go for a Simmons .22 mag scope. I've just had good luck with them.

My brother and I have the calibre specific .17 scope and it seems to be good for the price

Thanks, that is what I'm finding online. I can certainly look at the Simmons but suspect if I don't the Cabela's scope I'll stay with Bushnell.

I've put one of those Simmons' on a Cooey 22, and I'm actually a bit impressed with it.
Lots of eye relief, and quite clear.
It's only had a couple range trips, so I don't know about the durability yet, but seems pretty good.
Especially for ~$50 after taxes

WSS had a pile of the .22 specific Bushnells for around $51.00, right out in the open on the end of the row facing the no-service zone (gun counter).
Bushnell PN 76-2239, 3x9x32, comes with rings too. Mine has held up well, let's me hit what I'm aiming at.
