Hello fellow GOCers. I am sure you have noticed the sudden pruning of the threads in the marketplace, and thought I would take a moment to explain. There were several threads that have been inactive for over 45 days, no bumps, comments etc. These are now gone. If you are going to be out of contact for more than this time period, just drop me a note and I will be happy to hold off on deleting your particular ad. Please note however, that I am not going to make a habit of this. I have come up with some guidelines to follow for the marketplace that I hope will help it grow a little faster.
First: Any threads that have gone 30 days or more without activity on them will be deleted, so please remember to bump em if you still want your topic to remain alive.
Second: If you have found, traded, given away or sold the item you are advertising, please change the title of your ad to " Please Delete" or some variation. Hopefully that this will prevent people from getting mixed up as to which items are still available.
Third: while not mandatory, pictures always help sell the items, so do try to put them up.
Fourth: Any listing, no matter where it is posted in the marketplace, regarding prohibited materials will be harshly dealt with. examples are fully auto, unpinned mags etc. You all know the items of which I speak.
