Good morning Gun Owners of Canada,
The Alex Community Food Centre is currently looking for donations of wild game for their weekly community meal program. The Food Centre serves approximately 120 free, nutritious meals every Wednesday through this program. If you would like to donate butchered, boneless meat (elk, moose, deer, bison) please contact Bethel at (403) 455-5792 or email: [email protected] .
The Food Centre provides Calgary’s most vulnerable access to high-quality food in a dignified setting through healthy meals and an affordable produce market. People learn cooking and gardening skills, and kids get their hands dirty in the garden and kitchen in ways that expand their tastebuds and help them make healthier food choices.
