With all due respect and don't take this the wrong way. Its nice to see We are not alone.
I remember when I first joined this site, during the in the Harper era, and we couldn't upload images directly—we had to host them elsewhere, and we were perfectly fine with it.
Now, these young folks who expect image hosting right here are just spoiled!
We were happy.
We remember 300baud to 1200baud dial up boards, and 10 minute downloads of each image where you watch the image slowly appear line by line. Zipping everything, and file sharing programs that could restart from where it left off when the connection dropped.
We remember drawing images by hand on paper with a pencil, and being driven to grandma's so she could put it on her fridge until we left.
And my great^250 grandfather, who sought out a cave so he could paint hunting pictures of the animals that got away.

I vaguely remember references to the fairer sex's nether-regions being described as looking like a cleaved cat. Just because it's nostalgic doesn't mean we need to revisit that era. This one time I'm thankful that the pic posting feature isn't working.
Posting images from website links works fine using the [ img ] tag.
Uploading still fails.

My low-tech brain cannot process the work-arounds RB is proposing as solutions. My practical brains says WTF, thousands of other sites using Xenforo aren't having this problem so what are the collective "we" doing wrong?
My solution...I'm going to contact Battle Beaver and get him to engrave an image of a picture I wish to post onto one of his potatoes. Then I'll use that potato to stamp the image onto sheets of paper that I'll send out to each forum member by Canada Post during a CUPW job action. Expect to see my pictures in your mailbox sooner than a permanent, practical solution here.

On a unrelated note. Why do some members join date show the year and some don't. Case in point. Ours.

Change your screen zoom or resolution and it will show all your date.
I also can not see your full date when I zoom back to 100% but when viewing at 115 or 120% I can see the full date.

Being that We are not the type to be seen as better than everyone else We won't point out the fact that We beat you by four years.
Now I'm have issues trying to post news articles, getting the same Oopsie message!
When are we going to get this site sorted out, it's really starting to show just how bush league, amateur hour and poorly looked after as a forum we really are.
Are we using bottom of the barrel, cheapest bid, IT support from India or something?
It has been months now since we had a fully functioning forum.
Enough with the excuses, time to get off the pot and fix the damn problems.
It is now getting past the point of embarrassing and is going to kill this site off for good if nothing is done to properly fix it soon.

They couldnt get the site right with v bulletin, they can't get it right with this one.

Probably a wise move that they make lone wolf provide the updates to us, because we're less likely to shoot the messenger. (And also lone wolf actually answers our questions, and isn't an insufferable dick)
