    Got my RPAL/PAL now what?

In Alberta I had to include my range membership in order to renew my rpal, but I know a guy who used to be a prospector in the Yukon, who is now an Albertan. He was able to carry for protection in the bush around 25/30 years ago, he is still able to renew his rpal without a range membership...

I don’t have much to add to this conversation other than my personal experiences, I frequently roam around on other reloading forums if I’m looking for some kind of information about different things. I do so as a guest and if I’m unable to enter a forum without creating an account, I just move...

I think every excuse is a good excuse to get into reloading, but I don’t know if you can salvage any of these components for anything but .38 s&w. I don’t have a .38 s&w, but if what Grimlock says in post 13 is accurate then you may be SOL.

It seems that the only responsible thing to do is to buy a new gun chambered in that caliber, or a different caliber, whatever.

    The Journey of a Newbie

The snake I used was a Hoppes brand Bore Snake that has 2 sets of brass brush sections and the pull cord came out of the main part of the snake when the 2nd set of brushes entered the bore. I can’t comment on the one you have as a part of your kit as I have not used one.

    The Journey of a Newbie

I find in my 9mm and .30 cal guns the bore snakes work well, I had an almost new .22 cal snake break in my .22 lr pistol, which doesn’t lend itself to a good time. I will never use one in .22 or smaller again. I’m thankful it never broke in a rifle. I’m sure lots of people have used them...

    9MM Ammo Recommendation/Suggestions?

I have shot several thousand s&b in my m&p 9. No issues, I’ve had no issues with any ammo really. I’ve shot lots of blazer brass and aluminum as well as some steel cased stuff. I have also shot tons of reloads, both mine and factory reloads.

Shoot a message to the Clown Prince, I'm sure he will throw a couple million of our money at it and get it fixed right up. Just like the Phoenix pay system.
