I've been using Size 14 for all my posts. I tried Size 16 for a while, but I've settled on Size 14. Which usually means I have to remember, or subsequently set - always manually setting Size 14 for the entire post.

How about the 403 errors when editing posts.

I posted something similar to this thread a couple weeks back, but I had the same problem then as you did today - it didn't stick. I'll try your 'size=16px' in every single gosh darn post for a while. I tried your 'color' but that quickly led to 403 errors.

Two dashes together sometimes give 403 errors. Editing it to one dash makes the 403 error go away. --

Use the New Topics button. It does the same thing as the New Posts button did.

The old site, the message text area was as wide as the browser -- which meant that posts with lots of images could have them side by side. The new site, the maximum message text width is limited regardless of the browser size -- which means I can't see lots of images side by side, only vertically.
