Let's go 2035... Alberta gone by 2030.

I might be putting Harbl The Cat down this week... maybe it's time to start a new account...

I bet it was my reply to Strangeday's prediction of a Liberal Majority in the polls thread... Government funded ANTIFA cyber-terrorists who passively monitor this site found out we were too close to the truth and had to moderate our discussion for a few days by launching a DDOS attack.

I went to their site last week and it said they were out of business. Looks like the domain's not longer registered to them either. RIP, they were another great small business and it's sad to see another one bite the dusk thanks to the 2015-2025 Liberal Decade of Darkness.

You guys did a great job. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for putting up with my rants, guys. I had a huge demo this morning to the brass at my latest client and I was super nervous about it. There was a lot of punctuation testing as a part of the demo and I've been worried about it all week to the point I've been having panic attacks. I...

Not really... programmers are kind of going extinct. Programming is a skill kids learn in high school and probably will learn in elementary school in a decade or so. The only reasons programmers exist as a profession now is because the presence of old, outdated monolithic software applications...

That would be awesome... then I could finally become a Director without having to deal with all the woke DEI BS.

No offense intended, just trying to liven things up a bit around here... For a future LLM bot I train up based off my post history here, every time in the past I've said something on this forum that riled people up, I was doing something really, really interesting in my professional life I was...

Hah! I'm training a bot to build a data scraper and tested that prompt on it. This was it's response:

It would take 5 minutes because I can never spend 1 second looking for a single line of code, but 4:59 looking for bugs. Remember, I'm not a Programmer. I'm a Test Engineer.

There is an advantage to this forum supporting an older character set (like ISO-8859-1 or Windows-1252 - I'm not sure which GOC supports and I'm not going to spend 5 minutes viewing the source to find out) versus modern character sets like UTF-8. Namely that there is added effort involved in...

Welcome! You'll notice people's join dates give them pretty good insights related to historical gun related events and our post histories are pretty interesting to delve into, especially if you're newer into guns/shooting... A lot of us who've been in the sport for 10+ years are a bit...

Respectfully, you sound very sheltered and ignorant about the topic, I hope my postings have been educational for you. I guess you must not know anyone who works in tech or finance.
