Won't be coming back. The backup was made before those posts and this forum was made onto the new server using that backup. Posts are lost.

Cleared Cache and such, didn't solve the problem. Also a problem with "saving" an edited post. It just keeps going around and around yet if you wait long enough and press refresh on the page the edit was completed. Nothing to do but wait for the silly upgrade :D

Harper is putting forth a bill to do with firearms ownership. Part of that bill states that people will no longer be allowed to challenge the PAL exam, they must pay and take the entire course.

No you just take the PAL course (or just challenge the test until Harper's New bill comes in).

I wish BC was like that :( Bought another restricted. My "long term" ATT still isn't good enough to take the gun home and had to apply for a one day ATT that was valid from the store to my home.

Yes I've asked the same question to the ladies at the CFC and got the same answer (They even told me I couldn't pick the gun up from the store without my Reg Cert). The BC CFO told me different.

The documents themselves might not say "Short Term" or "Long Term" but the Government uses those terms. I have to differentiate between two different "types" of ATT since my "LTATT" does not allow me to take a gun home from the store I bought it in and thus have to ask for a "STATT" to do so.

There is a difference between them though until the law is changed....
