The big 900 gram bags of Lancia pasta are on this week at Wally World for 97 cents, grabbed six more. Even if nothing comes of this latest kerfuffle it still makes excellent tomato pasta salad for this summer. My pantry is set, as is the ammo locker. If it's to happen, let the madness begin. Well fed and belt fed.

"It is an absolute truism that law-abiding, armed citizens pose no threat to other law-abiding citizens."

Ammo, camo and things that go "blammo".

Typo? They are on sale here in Ontario for .79 cents. Bought 10.
    ...and some rice.
Hit Costco for their instant mashed potatoes & canned chicken breast. Both are pretty good

I changed out my emergency water supply finally. Ive been meaning to do it for months. Even though the one jug was coming up on a year (yeah, Ive been lasy about it), it looked, smelled, and tasted fine. I didnt drink a glass of it only because I didnt have a glass. Good to know I dont have to worry about doing it every month or two

Rail blockades could see cities run out of chlorine for water treatment. If the blockades continue, she believes some municipalities could be under boil-water advisories within days.
    ...
Campbell says chemicals for airplane de-icing would also be affected. "We certainly don't want to go another week," she says. "That would be seriously critical."

Any mason jars i have that happen to be otherwise empty are stored filled with water. No point having empty jars doing *nothing*.

Since i no longer eat carbs (overstatement) i have lots of mason jars that dont get used as much.

But they are slowly getting filled up with pemmican. Will be a lifetime supply by the time im done.
