    Dug up the spuds today.
    2 30ish foot rows worth.
    First time in recent memory I've actually got around to it before dark...

    Still had a bucket from last year down there (oops...)
    They were a little soft and sprouty, but still firm enough to peel if you were desperate.

    It's just a well pit, but I must say it's one of the nicest well pits I've ever been in (and my line of work takes me into a lot of them)
    I can't take any credit for it, it predates my time here by a couple generations. But so far we've never had to buy seed potatoes over the decade (almost) we've been here.
