Hughie you up for this? We can put a close target you you guys and your small calibers !!! He he he he dig dig dig
Small......... like my 45/70? Sorry, just 1200 yards. Aiming east we have 11 KM, that's toward the former power plant. I shoot south to north, across the front. No issues, lake is 4.5 miles wide, at this point, large sand hills behind target zone, no houses. Come on D, have some fun. Legally, a frozen lake is considered "crown land"; only in Canada, could that be defined in those terms.

    Cheers!

Ah you forgot the tearing apart and reassembly of the ATV. All while hugh waits for his truck to get fixed. Oil pressure regulator this time.

Ed 45/70 shooting too. Hmmmm No he means small (.338) compared to the 50 bmg and his 408 chytac.

Wow your shootin for 3000 and I haven't acquired 2000 yet. Come on H1000.

The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.
There is no place in an anti's head where reason can enter. from a Napoleon saying with a tweak.
Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because thatís the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

Wow, 3000 yards! Do you mind a wimpy 338 Lapua tagging along with Mr. Dmay? I sure would like to beat Tigrr to that 2000+ mark. If I don't beat him, I'll never hear the end of it....

Well, I'm ready for suggestions of dates? I'll be (hopefully) shooting skeet on the lake over Christmas, so I'll clear things with the local detachment. Then we are good to go!

    Cheers!

Another source for custom bases is Ken Farrel. He is currently making me a 50 MOA base for for my TRG-S. In my email and phone conversations with him he has been very helpful and accomodating.
