I asked my mom for the last couple years where her incubators were.
She said this uncle had it, or she lent it over there, couldn't remember.
I mentioned it to one brother this past week and he says "I have at least one in a corner somewhere"
Grabbed it today, and we'll see how it heats.

I remember an identical one being in the basement when I was a kid. It got put in a shed when Mom started buying chicks in the Spring instead. She and my sister recently got back into some fancier breeds, but the thing had fallen into disrepair from years spent in the leaky old shed. The new ones look to be mostly styrofoam, way less exciting than a big chunk of galvanized steel....

We've got hatchery chicks coming too.
This incubation was an impulsive whim.
We put 13 eggs on to see what would happen.

My ducks haven’t started to lay yet. Unfortunately I ended up with all hens so laying doesn’t really matter.

The pet chickens that are left haven’t produced an egg in months either. Incubating will be a piece of cake this year, lol. I’ve incubate for a couple of friends, but they haven’t asked me yet this spring.
