    Question Subsonic 22 LR

    Hey folks

Besides CCI and Remington, who makes a subsonic round that is available in Canada?

    Thanks

Seen federal also. Any target ammo will be subsonic. Look for stuff around 1050 fps or less

I saw that Winchester lists a subsonic on their website but I've never seen it.

Thanks for the heads up on Federal.

There is winchester target ammo. All the target ammo I have seen (any brand) is subsonic. Just get some target rounds.

I went to Epps on the Saturday and picked up 100 CCI Subsonic, 50 CCI Subsonic Segmented and 50 Winchester Subsonic. I then spent a very pleasant hour or so playing with my Ruger 10/22.

I have discovered that mine really likes the CCI Segmented with the Winchester following in a close second.

    Thanks for all the input.

The Best Sub-sonic's I have shot are the CCI Longs as well as their Standard velocity Target ammo. Remington CBee's are absolute garbage, I had a horrific number fail to fire.

I bought and shot two boxes Remington Subsonic yesterday.

The loads were highly variable. The worst were 3" high or low with the rifle zeroed at 50 yards. I though at first it was me until I noticed how far the spent casings were being ejected. I'd say about 20% of the cartridges were different from the others.

Afterwards I then had to scrub the soot off everything from muzzle to the rear of the bolt. Man they are dirty things.
