Can any one tell me if the 12ga version takes 3" shells?

Yes it does, but not 3.5" though.

That said, it is so light of a gun that firing 3" shells out of it results in a massive recoil kick. I was used to a much heavier Benelli Supernova with the nice soft butt pad, and you can fire 3.5" out of that all day with no problem because the mass eats up the recoil so well. But firing just a few 3" shells out of the Warrior makes your shoulder pretty sore.

    Thank you!
I have an old single cut down to 19" as a "truck gun" but it only takes 2.75 and want one that takes 3 just incase i ever need to use them.

Solution for that... Put it under your T shirt and nobody would know.

That solution would work if you had to shoot the thing a lot, but it's not really the type of gun that's meant for firing a ton of rapid shots.

As a truck gun, I'm really only ever thinking it would be used to put a deer/moose out of their misery if they're on the side of the road screaming.

don't really need a 3" for road side, 2 3/4 should work fine and if you believe the manufacturers 1 3/4 will work just fine
