    32 rimfire to?

Is there an adapter for a 32 rimfire to shoot any new production ammo ( 22,17 hmr etc.) Thank you for your time.

I think you'd have an issue with getting the firing pin to line up?
I know some of them have been converted to shoot 32-20, but that's a permanent thing.
    Whatcha got?

Here's Mr Potterfield doing his thing.

Here's my former .32rimfire. It's now sleeved to .17mach2. My first YouTube video.

How would a 17 WSM rimfire fit in one of these? Aren't they based on a .32 nailgun blank?

I didn't do the work... But if a fellow had a chunk of .17 barrel blank and a lathe I don't think it would be rocket appliances.

I think .17WSM is based on a .27 blank. I could be wrong.
I'm 99% that it's way too hot though.

I've made both .32 and .41 rimfire with the French kits. I by far perfer the .17mach2 conversions... Way easier, cheaper and just cooler

You can't use an adapter, or have it sleeved to .22, because that would negate the antique status and it would then either need to be registered, or it would become prohib because of barrel length etc. Always remember that there are certain calibers that are named, and if a firearm is in one of these calibers, it doesn't matter how old it is, it can't have antique status. 44-40 and .45LC come to mind, but I know that .22 is another. That's why you will see some of them redone in .17 Mach 2, because it is based on a .22 case, but is not a named caliber.

You could use an adapter... Just not an adapter for one of the named cartridges.

Edit* just one more thing. It's cartridges not calibers that are named in the firearms act.

One more edit... Ok fine and a third thing. You could sleeve to .22 just not one of the named .22s. .22wrf, .22wmr, .22morris (sp?) and 6mm flowbert all come to mind.
