    Vortex Strike Eagle

It appears to be similar to their Viper PST 1-4x24, but with higher magnification and a BDC reticle, no illumination or target turrets; and priced lower the Viper PST. This would look good on a 3-gun AR.

I'm looking forward to having a peek through one of these when they become available. I'm interested in seeing it compared with some of the other offerings on the market too. Maybe then I'll be able to decide what the top of my Tavor should look like.

3.5" eye relief & 1/2moa adjustments, kind of short coming but probably not a big deal for 3 gun eh?

    Reticule is illuminated.
the wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept

I'm looking forward to seeing this specifically for 3gun.

Perhaps Vortex went with the "close enough" approach when they designed this optic. Especially considering the price point. I am kind of peeved at the idea of a ballistic reticle that's been worked around one specific load and platform. Give me an MOA/MIL reticle like the pst and I can figure out for myself where to hold over. Still interested though, if only because of the price point.

Yeah, I agree that tailoring this scope to 223 was a bit of a let down for me.

    Yep I agree JustBen
Should have taken a page out of the Redfield book and had it come with different turrets and mildot.

Just put the 1X6 Strikeeagle on my AR for 3 gun. This scope is made for this purpose. I have not had the opportunity to reach out to 300+ yds yet.
