Evolving on the BAR is a good concept....If so then the updated BAR could be of use today.

The current Browning BAR that has been available for the last few years has practically nothing in common with the WW2-vintage gun.

I don't know why anyone would want it to look like an AR, though. My AR looks like an AR, my BAR looks like this:



I love how it looks. They really got the angles right where the body goes down into the grip and stock, I think better than any other hunting rifle out there. I'll get a matching stainless barrel for it at some point, but no rush.

That's actually an angle I didn't think of. A lot of WWII MG's are actually too easy to convert to full auto if they ue the actual action that these things used. As a result semi clones are simply look alikes and use a different mechanism completely. If that's the case here then I regress, not really a solid concept.
