    Hunting/Camping/Fishing Truck Project

This truck has taken on a few new jobs for me, it started out as a cheap tow rig for hauling small equipment around, then had some head gasket issues so I yanked the power stroke in favour of a mechanical DT360 inline six and a spicer 7 speed. Then it got some suspension upgrades to make the ride better, and my latest project has been building a removable attachment for my deck that will be all rigged up for hunting, fishing or camping. The basics are a boat rack with a winch to pull a boat up, followed by a roof top tent that sits under the boat, on board 60 gallon water tank, on demand hot water, 8' long tool boxes for gear, and a slide out bed to make other gear easier to access.

The next piece of this puzzle is a 16' tall off the back of the deck gin pole crane that uses the boat winch and pulleys to lift a large moose when required. It will be disassembled when not in use and stored on top of the tool boxes.

The whole deck removes with a hoist, excavator or bobcat in about 5 minutes.

    Sandblasting:

Anyone else have any ideas of things to add??

Some cool ideas there for sure. Make sure you mount a 4" Record vice on a receiver hitch mount, those are invaluable in the middle of no-where. I personally would have made the doors more like a service box, opening up rather than down but personal preferences aside it's looking good.

Ammo, camo and things that go "blammo".

Ya I like the vise idea. Doors opening down makes me nice tables on each side!

Awesome. Well done sir. I'd like something like that, but a little scaled down.

PS: You wanna do up a GMC for me?
I'd rather make a difference than a dollar.
