Anyone have any experience with the ISSC M22?

I'm contemplating getting one but I don't see too many reviews ob the long term reliability of it.

I haven't had one, but i sure haven't heard much good about them. Apparently getting warranty work done was all but impossible as well. Maybe they've corrected the problems now?

I've heard the newer imports are less problematic than the earlier ones, not sure when things changed. No hands on though.

I assume your talking about the scar looking semi auto. Anything newer then 2013 have updated guts that took care of the reliability issue. 3500 rounds plus so far, everything from cheap Winchester superX to high end stuff, all feed and function fine. Groups anywhere from 1-2" at 50m depending on ammo. Zero issues in rain, snow, dirt etc.

Friend of mine had one. I hated it, mainly the ergos on it. It was reliable enough for what it was. A Ruger SR22 is a way better "tactical" .22 imho.
I'd rather make a difference than a dollar.

    The M22 is a pistol.

As kennymo said, I do recall hearing there have been some improvements over the first gen but choice of ammo is still important. Lots of info on google.
