              I guess the only plastic is the magazine.
              Cast for the receiver iirc, military arms channel has a good overview that will tell you pretty much everything.

              Kind of makes me want to get rid of the 10/22...

                                  My wife said probably because unless you know guns you wouldn't know what a Stg 44 is but EVERYBODY knows what an AK-47 looks like.
