I put a Williams peep sight on my rifle and went out to the range to test fire today. Windage was great, but, it shot about 16" high, of course, I forgot to take a screwdriver to adjust. On the way home I was trying to remember if you need to lower the rear sight to lower the point of impact or raise it? I am thinking it need to go up at the rear to lower the poi. If it needs to go up, I am good to go if not I need to look at a new front post, in which case, do I need a taller front post to lower the poi or file down the insert to lower it?
