I have had one for a month. Keep in mind SD9 stands for self defence. Thats why the trigger has such a long and hard pull. To ensure the user fully intends to shoot. It works fine. The plastic comment is accurate.
400 rounds through mine with zero issues. Trigger is a bit better but nothing to brag about. From what I have read 1000 rounds to smooth it out.
I have seen mags for 45 but cant recall where.
For a first pistol I like it. Yes I have shot a Glock and itis no G17 but it also costs less than half.

I have had mine for a couple of months and just go the Apex kit. Not night and day difference but definitely a nicer pull.
He who hits first wins, regardless of the speed of the opponent’s miss.

Rod nice review but the SD stands for self defence which is around 8=8.5 lbs yes it take getting use to it.Mine has been polished only and a 200 rounds downrange has made the trigger group feel rather crisp and positive.I shoot and collect double action revolvers so for this money you can't really complain. cheers keep up the good work
