stoeger seems to have some nice ones, the double defense is kinda cool, but in reality you don't need a rail on a side X side.

If I could see in the dark I would not need a rail on any gun this is a personal choice or need based on personal need I agree with you a laser sight etc is overkill on a double however

I don't have a problem with rails in general, I just dont see the need for one on a double. Anymore than I see a need for a muzzle brake from a BMG on a .17, ala mossberg.

People who want a rail on a SxS for defence are more worried about looking cool, then actual home defence.

I would still get it, but I think the over/under defense is sweeter. I mean, a legal over/under coachgun, whats not to like?

I Got an outlaw, I think there cool as hell, it's got a nice balance to it. I got it used and one of the previous owners got it parkerized, looks good & it works great. Although I would like to see someone build a a real quality unit.

I would love a hammerless SxS with ejectors, 12 - 16" barrels. Now that would be sweet!

Got to shoot a Norinco coach gun today, triggers are not great but the gun handles pretty good even with 12" barrels and was regulated good at 50'. It is chambered for 3" but i wouldn`t recomend it, recoil was noticable even with light trap loads. All in all not a bad gun for the money.
