PAL/RPAL Timelines

Hello everyone.

I wanted to know if anyone has recently applied for PAL?

I have started the process this month and wanted to know what to expect

RCMP site says there is a 4 months delay

here is the most recent timeline posted at the other forum:

BC applicant
PAL & RPAL

course taken: May 30, 2021
received: 28 june, 2021
CC charged: 8 july, 2021 and showed up online.
Approved: 11 August
Called CFP BC, was put on hold for 2 mins and approved on call.

Waiting for card in mail

as I was going to through the process I was seeing that Ontario application were getting approved very quickly after CC charge. [I upgraded to RPAL last October took 6ish months]
