I use a Forster case trimmer designed for your drill press:

Works a treat and I like having a drill press in my reloading area.

It's just a question of money my man. I started reloading, and about a month later started casting my own stuff. The problem these days is getting suitable lead. We originally used lynotype (printing press lead). When that became a thing of the past, we started using lead wheel weights. Now they're going the way of the dinosaurs. The only place you can get lead (with antimony in it to give it hardness) is to buy the stuff commercially. That a very expensive way of doing it though. If you're just casting slugs an buckshot, and old lead from the scrap yard will do. I'd say to start reloading, and while you're doing that, start checking on the availability of lead in your area. No lead = no bullet casting.

I haven't priced it all out yet so I'm gonna guestimate probably $5g all said and done but piece by piece it wont hurt so much I've just found what I want and I'll just gradually buy the right stuff and make do as I progress until I have all the pieces! I figure I might as well jump in both feet!
