Your thoughts...Legal rapid fire SKS "gatling gun?"

This is more or less for a fun thought experiment:
Theoretically, could this be legally owned as a non-restricted firearm here in Canada?

With 5 round mags of course

You may not like guns, and choose not to own one. That is your right. You may not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you are gonna do are: 1) Call someone with a gun, and 2) Pray to God that they arrive quick enough to save you.

The crank makes it a prohibited device, if you follow the RCMP's ruling on Gatling guns. (Which briefly remained non restricted when everything else went prohibited)

As much as it pains me to confirm....it's 100% guaranteed to be in violation of the "one pull of the trigger, one round fired" nonsense.

But this is why it intrigues me... It is exactly "one pull, one shot!"
As for specific Gatling gun ruling... I am ignorant. I'll look into them.

According to the NFA https://nfa.ca/resource-items/what a Gatling gun is legal.

The Canada Justice Law site does not list Gatling gun in SOR 98-462:http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/r.../fulltext.html

The general case of a 'Mechanical device pulling the trigger' would loose in court as discriminating against the handicapped

    ....

Check out 01:44 in this video, 'trigger grip'

They were ruled prohibited when the RCMP determined that turning a crank in one direction continuously was a single trigger pull. Every crank type device intended for pew-pew-pew fun has been prohibited since....
