In the movie Truman (1995) staring Gary Sinise, Truman's daughter Margaret is in the oval office with him one evening when a rat scurries along the wall.
Margaret Truman screams in terror: Oh my [goodness], it's a Republican!

faaack I drove by a dead one today, I almost puked while driving! It was so rancid, I started to dry heave as it was stuck in my nose. I rolled down all the windows and sped up haha.

Quoted for the truth. Miserable chicken killing buggers, but referring to them as liberals is a bit harsh (for the skunk that is)

Couple nights ago the lad caught a skunk in a leghold trap and dispatched it. I come home from spraying today and as I walk to the house the wife meets me at the door with my old .22 with peep sights. Says she was going to go shoot a couple baby skunks but hands me the gun instead. So I sneak down to where the little ones had come out where she cut the grass and with two shot's got.

Almost made me proud of myself but not quite.

Hope that's the end of them.

Unlike what others have said, do not drown them. You are allowed to kill nuisance animals on your property, under the condition that you do not cause unnecessary suffering, and people have been successfully convicted before based on SPCA recommendations and charges.

Kill as many as you want, but they have to be killed quickly. Shoot them, crush them, hell...blow them up, but it has to be immediate, and drowning them will get you in trouble.

Trust me, I was forced to research this subject way more in depth than I ever wanted to, with a great deal on the line.

I can only imagine the weird series of events that would lead to such a conviction.

Some things done on properties around here, well, they continue to happen cause we don't blab.

Drowning sucks though. Don't wish that on anything.

I've been trying to catch a big one the past two weeks. My trap is a tunnel type with a trap door. I can't shoot it where I live though. I'd have to take it to a friend's farm. Or release it about 15kms away.
