Cellphone adapter for your spotting scope.

Well I got a Bushnell 20-60x65mm the eye relief isn't the best. I tried to take video with my phone but the digital zoom was just blurry. My phone films in HD, so was sad..So I thought it would be cool to mix a phone camera with the optical zoom of the spotting scope. I ended up finding this adapter for 20$ something on amazon that you can clamp onto any scope..

This is 32ft, 20x with 4x digital zoom on a old samsung Ace 2 the lightest phone I had.

Just clamps to your eye piece. I had to tape the focus knob because it kept on turning.




Its soo much nicer just to quickly look over. Also I can take pictures, video and review.
It could probably fit on a rifle scope but I think it might fall off. But maybe 22LR. Its easy to fall off, I tried it on my Mauser but as soon as cycled the action it came off.

You might want to tape it up the focus ring because on my spotting scope it was moving around alot. I'll be trying different phones on it. I got a S4, a LG G3, Iphone4.

*tested* S4, LG will work if you take off your cases. I also expected the arms to be longer to grab the phone.

Hmmmmmm, that is kinda neat. The eyepiece on my spotter is about 1.375, which looks much smaller than the product you linked to. I wonder if I could make something like that up to fit my S3 using a cheap plastic case and a Butler scope cover?

Says it opens up to 46mm or 1.8" down to 26.4mm so 1.03". Now I wouldnt mount it on anything I would be moving around. It does have a weakness. It does pop off easy.
