Depends what truck we are driving on when our last hunting trip will be. All there is to hunt here is deer so makes for a boring hunt when all you ever see is does and two point bucks.

With that said, I've heard and read a few stories where someone (not necessarily a senior member either) has passed away while on a hunting trip and how it impacted the others in the group. Sobering and sad reads that, in some instances, didn't have to happen - guys just didn't look after themselves.
    That's my fear.
I'd love to go while doing something I love, but it'd sure ruin the hunting trip for anyone else involved.
It's a bad enough deal to drag a deer out of some of the spots we hunt in, I'd hate for anyone to have to drag me out of there.

Passing on some of the knowledge and a lot of the work to younger bodies is how it has been done since the days of the caveman.
I see no reason wh ythat shouldn't continue, and I like to think I'd come to realise when "It's Time."

I am one of the young'ns, but I sincerely hope that I have to stop hunting because of age instead of because of any injury. That being said, I don't own an ATV and I don't think I ever will. If ever I cannot hunt by hiking an area I think I will call that the end of my hunting days.

You might change your mind when that time comes. I'm happy to get a ride to my watch now, when at one time I wouldn't think of it.
