The Official Mounts, Kills & Hunting Picture Thread

Thought it would be nice to see some of us in action, or mounts of trophies taken. Just wanted to say hunting isn't about the kill, it's about the memories shared with family & friends while providing for them.

There not the best field photos, but it's lucky I even took pictures, I'm getting better now that the younger bro's are hunting

Found some pics of my uncles buck, I passed this one up not seeing the whole thing, needless to say I didn't think it was what it is. It's been called trailer trash cause of all the junk on it's head and in his yard

I sure miss white walls in the man cave........
I don't think you can see the walls in my cave.

I resized these pictures so I do not know why they are still so big. Maybe it takes awhile.

Ok...I'll get in on this. Got this guy last fall. I just got the cast off my wrist 4 days before, and was supposed to be in a splint for 3 more weeks...hey...deer season waits for no one. There was about a foot to 18" of snow on the ground, and he was down in a thicket of scrub, looking straight at me. All I could see was from his nose up. I didn't want to take a chance of screwing up that rack, so I actually shot low, through the snow and got him in the chest. I'm sure glad I was using my 300 win mag that day, and not my 30-30. There were witnesses to this as well, including our site administrator Jonanddad, and Rottweilerboy.
