Correct me if I am wrong, but did Bantario not ban hunting of bears a few years back. We know that went real well for them.
I can understand if wolves are getting thin, but coyotes????

    That is a noteworthy distinction.

The same idiots that banned the spring bear hunt and we all know that worked out. In northern Ontario the bear overpopulation has been devastating to the moose population. I always hope the bears will migrate to the Toronto area and get their chance to munch on the "pigs at the trough" in Queens Park.

The old coyote running the province is protecting her siblings?
"It is an absolute truism that law-abiding, armed citizens pose no threat to other law-abiding citizens."

Ammo, camo and things that go "blammo".

No such beat as an Algonquin Wolf. It's an Eastern Wolf. Despite what the Ontario Socialists think. Only 500 of 'em left, mostly in the Park, though. No hunting in Algonquin Park. Wolves are threatened everywhere in Eastern North America.

"...Bantario not ban hunting of bears..." Spring bear hunt was stopped by then Premier Mike Harris(PC. 1995 to 2002) who knuckled under to special interest anti-hunting groups.
"...bears will migrate to the Toronto area..." No 'will' about it. Yogi has been spotted near Collingwood, as I recall. Seems to me there was one seen very close to if not in TO recently, as well.

I think the spring bear hunt was reinstated this spring in a few areas.
