I did not need to see that, Den. For gods sake post a hazmat warning first.

(similarly if there are too many, they change the regulations to increase hunting in certain areas)

If the animal has been over hunted, isn't it the purpose of conservation to request humans reduce their hunting for a while ?

    What am I missing?
It's the OFAH that's missing something. As some have tried to tell me when I criticized that org for their lack of action on the 10/22 mag issue, the OFAH is primarily a conservation organization.

Yet they don't seem to understand basic conservation issues with this topic.

I can understand if wolves are getting thin, but coyotes????
The Harris PC government banned the spring bear hunt in the mid to late 90's.

The Wynne Liberals brought it back as a pilot project in a very limited number of WMU's a couple years ago. IIRC they expanded it this year.

on a side note-A old friend of mine asked some city people who own a bit of property, if he could trap the beavers in the pond next to their cabin, they were horrified by the prospect of harming the beavers that they loved to watch, and refused to allow him, the next year after the beavers dropped most of the trees around their cabin, they contacted him to trap the beavers, he told them "no,you still love those beavers?"..
