i absolutely agree with the bold sentence , but from my first hand experience with every scope makes and hunters, i don't make friends when i voice my statement about leopold ; crap.

I wouldn't worry about making friends, most who blindly champion garbage gear aren't worth getting to know.

Taking game at short range with low end optics and rifles that might see a box of shells a year is hardly a glowing endorsement for the POS brands you mention. Some people understand, demand and appreciate quality equipment that wasn't manufactured in a sweat shop. Of the hunters I've encountered with low end optics, I have yet to meet one that didn't have it bolted to a low end rifle.

And still the deer ends up in the freezer. Damn idiots, don't realize the benefits of dropping a nightforce on a rock in the back country and having it repaired instead of replaced.

    Ok kids....play nice.

Update on my scope status: No update...no calls...no emails. It's looking like I'll be putting the PST up for sale when it finally finds it's way home. Ok....time to clench the teeth and pucker the hole. Nightforce price sticker, here I come.

Well, I did it. I ordered the Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 MOAR-T reticle. I've got an shooting event coming up a week from Saturday, and I just can't wait for Vortex to do their thing. Cry once..cry hard...smile for years, right ? I've got the rifle that can do the job, and now I'll have an optic that I can trust.

well done, you'll never have to look back. they're built like tanks, and they provides the most accurate adjustements ever. maybe not the most defined image , but the precision of the controls is second to none.
