    Wonder if the coin moved hard enough that it broke through the envelope? Don't imagine letter shorting machines are very gentle.

    it's possible, but the gap of the machines compared to the width of the coin isn't a problem they check first.

    The most of the envelopes i have seen have been opened clear as day to remove the coin

    I would bet it is the local sorting station. Those poor,overworked souls have to offset their meager wages with tokens. Bet they get laughed out of the local pawn shop.

    What about sandwiching them between 2 pieces of cardboard and stuffing them into the envelope? That way they won't be able to feel that its a coin.

    I know a few people who work at CP, and I love em, they wouldn't take a piece of candy without asking first, but I absolutely despise canada post.
    Nothing here yet, but being PEI, probably get here late next week.
