Just spent far to much time trying to get my sons Stihl 55 line trimmer started. New carb,gas,plug and it will not work. So's, I come inside and peruse GoC and low and behold, I GOT # 57!!!!! Thanks guys! You are #1 with a bullet!

Take the exhaust apart and see if there is a screen(spark arrestor). If there is and it's plugged...clean it.
