I just got an email that Type-81 LMGs are available, from the importer of the 81.

$1700 if you want it with a drum mag

Tempting, if not for both financial and political uncertainty. Didn’t care much for the 81, but I kinda was lusting after this version that we were supposedly never going to see

Neat, but I'm 50/50 batting on chinese guns working at all and 25% of the time one self destructs in my face.

There's certainly that aspect. It's hard to beat the SKS for a generic blaster of old crap ammo anyway.

I've not fired a rifle all year besides. It's been a shotgun sort of season

Looking like a very nice condition Model 41...

My random gun thought about GOC...

You ever want to "Like This" on a post because it is very truthful, has good links & sources, it displays something informative, it shows you something you needed to know, it has something ironic...

    .

    .

... but wish there was a "OMFG!" button to show that the truth was messed up, the information at the links was disturbing, the information made you bitter, the knowledge was messed up, the ironic was moronic...

I get that with a bunch of RangeBob's information: there'll be a great article and links on violence, suicides, gun control... the knowledge is important, the links and sources solid, but that knowledge is messed up (like how white males have the largest suicide rates: good to know so you can look out for your white males friends, family and co-workers... but its a messed up statistic that's disturbing. Partial Info: https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/.../11696-eng.htm)

There was a bunch of neat stuff, but a lot of it was the same neat stuff.
