Yeah... I can see it having issues. I just think it'd be neat. Iirc the grove dia is different between the rim fire and ACP. Probably best to use a liner or even new barrel. If one was made from scratch it could legally be an SBR. that'd be neat. 10" maybe.

Neat looking rifle. I'm a fan of takedowns. Sorry I can't help with the sight but I'll be sure to keep an eye out at any gun shows.

    Necro thread I know.

I own this gun now.. And I gotta say the sight is interesting.. Not sure what ammo the guy used. It's def not a factory barrel. I removed the sight, and has the Stevens logo under. It was D&T with the odd threaded, non threaded barrel. Due to having 2 detents on the barrel.

The 3 shot group was CCI Standard Velocity aimed tip on center. The 5 shot group was CCI quiet 22 ( about 700 FPS ) and I aimed 6 o clock. Terry did say it shoots about 8" high. But found it funny that Quiets shot higher.

    I got plans for it..

I had a .32 rimfire. Ammo was too hard to come by so I sold it to a collector.

I was advised not to use high velocity ammo in it.
I only shot CCI quiet ammo through it.

Looking forward to see what your plans are.
