I see prices are down from the last time I bought from them. Dammit! Thought I was being smart by hedging against inflation ... grr
Unless I see a knock out price elsewhere I just buy from Higginson. Always a lot of guys looking for powder to fill an order.

I will look at what I've got and see if there are any holes to fill

Of course bud. I know it's a little tough in your circumstance.

Sorry I missed the part about it having to be local pickup in Edmonton.

Is the $30 environmental charged by them once, or do you need to add that to every sub order you mail out?
Donít order from Wolverine Supplies. PM me for details.

It says on top of their price list that shipping is free on orders 24 lbs and over but that a $30 hazmat fee will be charged. It looks like it'll be once per shipment. There won't be a sub order. I'll put in one big order and give everybody what they ordered when it gets here.

The Hazmat fee is charged once per order. One complete order is shipped to a major center (in our case Edmonton) and then it is up to you to pick it up there or pay for delivery to the country. I go to the city every so often so it isn't a big deal for me to wait till an order is in to schedule a trip in. They don't make it into several small orders that would be up to the leader of the pack, in this case blacksmithden, to place the order, pay, pick up and distribute. It really is a great way to get the best price on powder available and I see now that they are offering 4 lbs. packs for those that don't want or need a big 8 pounder. And I saw someone ask about taxes - I have purchased in the past and only paid the GST, no PST or HST

Mr. blacksmithden - I see that I am pretty well stocked and really don't need anything at this time, however, if you are having trouble making a full order I would jump in for a couple of pounds to top it up.

Got it, but the part I missed is that the sub-orders aren't getting mailed out (by you) after that point (or are you?)

I missed the point about it having to be locally picked up at your place, but I'm still somewhat confused because you mentioned Ontario taxes.

If you are not willing to sub-ship my 4-8 pounds to me in NB (at my cost) then there's nothing I can do unfortunately and I can't take part in this order.

No they don't. We in Alberta don't have a provicial sales tax. So Higginsons only charges 5% gst for us. Btw, that's the law too. Where ever it's sold into, that's the tax rate. AB ...5%.
