    AB Knives

I started making knives 2 years ago and will post some pics as I go along. I started out with fixed blades, but have also made a slip joint and a liner lock. I will be making a lock back and a frame lock possibly this winter.

Some really nice work there for sure. You clearly have the knack. What are you using for steels?

I'd rather make a difference than a dollar.

I only use stainless steel. The top one is a test blade in S35VN (61Rc). The hunter and liner lock are AEB-L (62Rc) and the slip joint is CPM 154 (59Rc). I do my own heat treat.

Thanks. It's my retirement hobby that I started early and I do sell them. Most go to guys that I work with, the others go to people on the internet.

you did your TEST blade in s35vn? I have to say I admire your taste in steel, and that's some dedication to the craft!

    They do look gorgeous.
