Chicken breast meat loaf. I ground up six chicken breasts added 2 eggs and ketchup
Mixed it well and added bread crumbs till it reached the right consistency then in the
pan with some ketchup and sriracha sauce and coarse black pepper 90 minutes later its done.
The enamel pan came from my grand parents estate its probably over 100 years old.

Tonight's meal consists of 5 grouse breast split in half and fried/browned in bacon grease. Then a mixture of tomato soup/mushroom soup, onion, garlic, rubbed sage, salt and fresh crushed pepper are added to the pot and let it simmer for 45 minutes. First time with this recipe. I'll let you know.

It must have been as good as expected. Possibly better.
Youve fallen asleep with a belly full of speck fried grouse, and passed out

Finishing my opening day slow cooker lasagna for the boys tomorrow.

2lbs of butchers smoked bacon (mostly cooked) in cast iron frying pan on bbq, then in goes 4lbs of our grass fed highland ground chuck..... fried in the bacon fat.
Let cool a bit, and then layers of noodles, sauce, bacon, cottage cheese, ground chuck, shredded mozzarella, repeat.

Putting about a 10lb 'zanga together this year.
We plug the slow cooker in at the hay shed we call base for the week at 530 am, and by noon is simply amazing.

Last day of the season, so had some backstraps from the first day of the season.
3 hours in the Kamado with some mesquite, oh man, worth the wait.
No pics, it disappeared before I thought to.

Yup it was good. The sauce on rice was good too. I would try chicken this way.
