That was the best piece of venison I've ever had.

$36 all in, $6 more than fast food. Grass fed Angus 20oz T-Bone, scallops, prawns, lobster (excuse the presentation LW) lent out the shears, so the savage presentation.

So tonight is experiment pizza night. Home made small and large pizza's. We bought some 6" pizza dew dads at Walmart and I threw on 4 slices of ham and the misses got 3 slices of ham and we really enjoyed them for lunch.
So we are trying to re-create that lunch thing, home made. Mine will be loaded with green peppers, celery, mushrooms, ham, cheddar, mozzarella cheese and garlic sausage and the misses will be pizza sauce and cheese. Ya I don't understand it either.
    Time to start the cooking.

Had a buddy who used to add a good dab of pesto topped with a shrimp to each slice. Made for a helluva pizza. Add a few minutes before it’s due to come out of the oven to prevent overdone shellfish.

Last night it was moose roast and moose heart from the slow cooker. Moose heart is very gamey. Thankfully it is a 1/2lb heart to the 5lb roast.
We use the slow cooker / crock pot liners to save on cleanup time. It broke over the pot spewing gravy all over everything "but" into the pot it was suppose to go in. Including me. Instead of 2 liters of gravy I'll be lucky if I have a 1/2 liter.
Moose is good, I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and supper. Except for the effect of too much meat!
    Lunch and supper only today.
