A light coating of Cabelas ‘Wild Game’ and let sit for 1/2 hour or so.

A hot pan with a tablespoon of butter....and you can probably guess the rest. No vegetables required. Sitting here waiting to see if the meat sweats set in or not. So much for having some left over for lunch tomorrow....

Buffalo chicken & bacon + blue cheese enchiladas
Real simple, and pretty damn good. Should of included some peppers(forgot to buy some earlier)... next time.
Hell, could of thrown a can of beans in the pan with them too.

The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.

    Cabbage soup
    shred 1 cabbage = 1.5 kgs.
    small cube 4 potatoes
    dice 6 carrots.
    slice 8 sections of garlic.
    1 tsp of salt
    3/4 tsp of black pepper.
    1 cup of corn.
    1 cup of peas.
It helps me loose weight heading into Christmas festivities. Looking at the 3 cans of mixed nuts yet to be opened and all the chocolates and sweets. I need this soup. Looking forward to the turkey, stuffing, gravy and pumpkin pie. And the fellowship.
    Merry Christmas everyone.

shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, bacon bits, and cheese, mixed up in a bowl and rolled into tortilla wraps(corn not flour ones if you can find them)
Add cream to the pan/dish(cast iron ftw) & mix in a little more buffalo sauce, then place the wraps in
Over the top of everything, more shredded cheese, whatever is left of the cream, and some blue cheese dressing
15min in the oven at 450, everything is cooked so just heating through and getting a nice colour, comes out bubbling.

Thoughts: needs some peppers added to the chicken mix, maybe some mushrooms too(even just out in the cream), you could also try throwing in some instant rice to the unused parts of the pan to add more bulk.
Further Thoughts: a pull pork instead of chicken version, add a can of beans. So a bbq pulled pork mix in the tortillas, simmered in some cream & baked beans. Cheese all over the top. That's hunt camp kind of food.

That’s what it looks like when your husband and five year old bake you a cake for your birthday.

That was a very nice thing for your husband to do...

Why does the rest of the country get first dibbs on half my income?

Just hit the HEB quick on the way back from a successful first fire on our Siemens co-gen this afternoon. 21 day aged, grass finished, cut today porterhouse $10.50, 1/2 pound fresh de-veined and shucked gulf shrimp $7.00 and the auxiliaries are pennies on the pound....... BURP!!
