Had fresh lake trout 2 nights in a row. Still twitching when it hit the pan. Caught and ate a burbot. Not bad tasting. The round things are lake trout cheeks.

In keeping with tigrrís post, it is fish burger night... The price of salmon down here (yes wild) is stupid cheap compared to BC.

Lunch today for the betterhalf and I was the lower left half fillet in the picture and a slice of homemade bread each. A little bit left for my noodle soup lunch tomorrow.

I bought a Forno Magnifico pizza oven from Costco a couple years ago and we never buy take out any more. The store bought frozen pizza with a bit of doctoring with extra cheese and hot peppeoni are nothing short of amazing.
